Ethics

First Nations Innovation research protocols are developed in collaboration with the First Nation organizations in the project partnership. The protocols are reviewed by the research ethics board of the researchers’ home institution. We follow the ethical guidelines outlined by: Research with First Nations, Inuit and M├ętis peoples, Chapter 9 of the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (TCPS 2). http://www.pre.ethics.gc.ca/eng/policy-politique/initiatives/tcps2-eptc2/Default/
